Pro-choice women ran and were elected to public office in record numbers in 2018 — and they are not slowing down. Today, Women Winning is proud to announce three endorsements for Saint Paul City Council — our first endorsements of 2019!

Amy Brendmoen currently serves as Council President and is running to represent the people of Ward 5 for a third term.

Mitra Jalali Nelson was elected to the Saint Paul City Council in a special election in August 2018. She is running to represent the people of Ward 4 for a full term.

Rebecca Noecker is running for a second term representing the people of Ward 2. She currently serves as Council Vice President.

The Saint Paul City Council is currently comprised of a majority pro-choice women — and we’re excited to sustain our capital city’s legacy of strong pro-choice women’s representation in 2019.  If you live in Saint Paul, be sure to caucus for pro-choice women on March 10th!

Women Winning will continue to make endorsements throughout the year. There are crucial local and municipal races on the ballot in 2019 and we’re already building for 2020. Women Winning is committed to advancing pro-choice women’s representation at every level, from park board to President of the United States!
