This year, record numbers of pro-choice women are stepping up to run for all levels of public office across the country. In Minnesota, pro-choice women are leading the ticket and we have the opportunity to change the face of power in our state. When pro-choice women are elected, they champion legislation that benefits children, families, and communities, and we know that reproductive freedom and choice will be protected if pro-choice women are proportionally represented at all levels of government.

Women Winning is proud to endorse six strong, pro-choice women leaders in June.

Ilhan Omar, U.S. House of Representatives, Congressional District 5
Debra Hilstrom, Minnesota Attorney General
Hodan Hassan, Minnesota House District 62A
Kaohly Her, Minnesota House District 64A
Irene Fernando, Hennepin County Commissioner District 2
Maria Regan Gonzalez, Richfield Mayor

We will be endorsing more candidates in the months leading up to the election and will be working as hard as we can to elect pro-choice women up and down the ballot in November. You can join us in supporting Women Winning’s pro-choice women candidates by voting for them in the Primary Election on August 14! Early Voting for the 2018 Primary has begun, learn more about early voting HERE.
