From responding to the coronavirus pandemic to addressing systemic racism, local and state government policies directly impact our daily lives. We must have our best advocates in elected office at every level -- this June, Women Winning is proud to add five powerful pro-choice women running for state and local offices to our formidable slate of 2020 candidates. In the August Primary and again in November, we will elect pro-choice women up and down the ballot.
We need strong advocates, innovative leaders, and equitable representation at all levels of government. To make sure pro-choice women win up and down the ballot this year, Women Winning is thrilled to launch our 2020 Primary Election Action Series!
Recent protests of police brutality and systemic racism further amplify the critical importance of having our best advocates at all levels of government. We’re proud to endorse six pro-choice women running for critical state and county offices, bringing our total 2020 endorsements to 77 formidable candidates. It’s time to elect the government we need and deserve.
At the most fundamental level, what brings us all together in this work is the shared goal of creating a more just world by electing a government and fostering institutions in which we are seen and respected. We are proud to stand with the women leaders in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and across the world who are showing up to demand change, and to listen to and grieve with their communities. These are the leaders we need.
Pro-choice women are well on their way to winning up and down the ballot in November! We’re proud to report that 96% of Women Winning’s endorsed candidates for state and municipal offices WON their party endorsing conventions this month!

Minnesota leads the nation with 50% of our federal delegation comprised of pro-choice women and Women Winning looks forward to expanding that important legacy in 2020. Quinn has the vision, campaign infrastructure, and grassroots support to win in November, and Women Winning will be with her every step of her path to becoming the first woman to represent Minnesota’s Eighth District in Congress.
