Every election and every office matters. Pro-choice women are running for critically important local and municipal offices in 2019 and Women Winning endorsed a slate of strong, pro-choice women this June.

Women Winning is proud to endorse first-time candidates Theresa O’Halloran-Johnson for Duluth City Council, District 3 and Deb Brinkman for St. Louis Park City Council.

Women Winning is proud to endorse Nelly Korman for re-election to the Bloomington School Board, and to endorse first-time candidates Lynne Penke Valdes for St. Anthony Village School Board and Mia Olson for Bloomington School Board.

City councils and school boards play a critical role in protecting reproductive rights. Cities and counties determine zoning and funding for clinics. School boards determine the availability of age-appropriate consent and reproductive health education.

Pro-choice women across Minnesota continue to step up and run for office in record numbers. Women Winning is committed to advancing pro-choice women’s representation at every level — from City Council to School Board, Park Board to President of the United States!
