Women Winning is Minnesota’s largest women’s political organization. Our mission is to recruit, train, and elect pro-choice women to all levels of public office. Women Winning’s robust candidate support services are provided completely free-of-charge, breaking down barriers to running for and winning elected office.

Women Winning is a 501c4 organization with a State and a Federal PAC. Over the past 39 years, Women Winning has raised millions of dollars and supported thousands of pro-choice women candidates.

The Operations Associate will support the Women Winning office by fulfilling responsibilities pertaining to accounting and office administration, development and political events, and organizational correspondence. The Operations Associate will also play an important role in conducting outreach, via phone calls and email, to Women Winning vendors and event attendees, donors, and volunteers.

The Operations Associate will report to the Marketing Director of Women Winning.


  • Lead office administrative efforts, including
    • Accounting and compliance responsibilities: invoice preparation, bill processing, bank deposits, and processing
    • Data entry in accounting, donor, and political systems
    • Coordinating office and merchandise orders and disbursement
  • Support Women Winning President with
    • Calendar management, partner correspondence, and special projects
    • Preparation for Board of Directors and Political Action Committee meetings
  • Partner with Women Winning Marketing and Advancement team on
    • Targeted outreach calls and email correspondence to invite guests to Women Winning fundraising and grassroots events
    • Event preparation and fundraising follow-ups; acknowledgment letters to ensure donors are thanked in a timely and appropriate manner
    • Digital communications, including website maintenance and email and social media execution
  • Partner with Women Winning Political team on
    • Campaign training logistics and participant correspondence
    • Political Leaders of Tomorrow (PLOT) participant recruitment and programming
    • Candidate endorsement administration (letters, contributions, data entry, website updates)
    • Volunteer recruitment for grassroots organizing events, such as door knocks and phonebanks

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Commitment to the mission and work of Women Winning; a passion for electoral politics, women’s leadership, reproductive justice, and community building
    • Strong organizational skills; reliable and accountable to successfully execute administrative responsibilities
    • Experience using databases and information management systems (e.g., EveryAction, NGP/VAN, QuickBooks, etc.)
    • Technologically savvy; experience with website maintenance and design (e.g., WordPress, Canva, etc.)
    • Comfortable with volunteer and donor outreach calls and emails; a competitive spirit geared toward meeting and exceeding goals
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and a good sense of humor
    • Must be able to coordinate transportation in the metro area

    Hours: Full-time – regular business hours, occasional night and weekend commitments

    Compensation: Base salary range is $35,000 – $50,000. Final offer will be commensurate with experience.
