A Shoreview resident, mother of two, public servant and law student, Nicole Joy Frethem is running for Ramsey County in District 1. A first time candidate with more than ten years of experience supporting families and children, Nicole has served in both the private and public sectors. This combination of experiences has shown her the challenges facing families, government and small business. Nicole believes that as county commissioner, she can use her skills, knowledge and abilities to serve her community with transparency and respect.
