Paula Mielke is vying for one of two open seats on the Falcon Heights City Council. Paula has been a Falcon Heights resident since 1990 and has long been active in the community. She has 30 years of in public relations experience and owns Grahn’s Upholstery, a small furniture restoration shop in Minneapolis. She currently represents the city on the Ramsey County Library Board and previously served on the Parks and Recreation Commission from 2006 to 2008. If elected, Paula wants to ensure the community values developed by the city’s Inclusion and Policing Task Force guide all decisions. She also wants to help oversee implementation of the task force recommendations and ensure there is always at least one woman on the Falcon Heights City Council.
