Meg Forney is running for her second term as a Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Commissioner At Large. She has a history of more than 35 years of service to Minneapolis, many of which have been spent working with the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board. She considers parks a marker of a city’s quality of life, and has plans to continue her work to improve that quality of life for all the people of Minneapolis. She hopes to increase the accessibility of the parks through partnership expansions and equitable funding, and wants to increase public engagement and bring new voices into neighborhood park decisions.
