Alondra Cano is running for re-election to represent the Ninth Ward on the Minneapolis City Council. She has served the diverse families of her ward for the past three years. She would like to serve a second term on the Minneapolis City Council to keep leading on environmental justice, especially implementing Green Zones to phase out industrial polluters from the most low-income and diverse areas of our city. Alondra also plans to continue to champion workers' rights, cooperative business development, and the social justice movements of our time. As the first Latina elected to the Minneapolis City Council, Alondra reflects and represents the changing face of Minneapolis, and can help ensure everybody's voice is at the public policy making table.
