Sherrie Pugh is running for State Senate District 33 because she believes that the district needs responsible and accountable leadership. She worked in public, private, and nonprofit sectors developing housing and building local economies. Her work includes an extensive range of professional and volunteer accomplishments. She has a BS degree in Housing Studies from the University of Minnesota and an MPA in Public Affairs from the U of M’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Sherrie believes that our taxes should support the quality of life and amenities we expect such as world-class education, safe highway/road and transportation systems, and the preservation of our environment.
