Becky Rothmeier

Political Director
Becky comes to womenwinning from our partner organization, America Votes, where she served as the Program Director, working with over 30 political partners to increase leadership recruitment, create data-driven campaigns, and build electoral successes across the state. Becky got her start in college by advocating for pro-choice organizations and women’s leadership development on her college campus. In 2006, Becky served as Amy Klobuchar’s personal staffer in her first U.S. Senate campaign, and took a position in Washington DC working with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee following Klobuchar’s successful election.  Becky returned to Minnesota in 2008 to work for Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman, raising money for his campaign and directing outreach in the official office. In 2012, Becky played a pivotal role in defeating the Photo ID amendment serving as Deputy Campaign Manager.
