Amy Brendmoen is running for a second term to the Saint Paul City Council in Ward 5. She is the current chair of the Saint Paul Housing and Redevelopment Authority. She is committed to continuing her work to promote community engagement, enfranchisement, economic development, and livability in her city. A huge advocate of the outdoors, Amy conceptualized a triathlon to raise funds for YMCA Camp Saint Croix in 2006. Over the past nine years, the event has raised nearly $100,000 to support environmental and outdoor education at the camp. When she is not hard at work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her three school-aged sons, as well as caring for their small flock of backyard chickens.
