Barb is running for reelection to represent House District 42A. Barb prioritized traffic movement in her community during her first term in the Minnesota State House. She was instrumental in making sure that design work to create MnPASS lanes on I-35W received funding in the 2014 bonding bill. As a former teacher, it was important to Barb to pay back the money borrowed from Minnesota schools. She has also been a strong advocate for increasing pay and worker’s rights for long-term healthcare workers. Barb has a background in Chemical Engineering and is proud to share her science knowledge and skills with fellow lawmakers.
