Kristin Beckmann is the Vice President of Programs & Services for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. She started her career in 1992 as a campaign fundraiser for primarily pro-choice Democratic women including Ann Wynia, Ember Reichgott-Junge, Sandy Pappas and Amy Klobuchar. She also worked for EMILY's List endorsed candidates in Maryland, Illinois and Oregon.  After receiving her MAPA from the Humphrey Institute she began lobbying and running the political program for the Service Employees International Union. While running the SEIU PAC, she also served on the Boards of TakeAction MN and WIN MN. In 2009, Kristin moved to Twin Cities Habitat where she manages the community and government relations efforts along with the programs that help low income families stabilize their housing. In her volunteer time, she serves on the Boards of womenwinning and MN United PAC. Her husband Robert Richman and she have two children and live in Saint Paul.
