womenwinning is seeking Executive Office Interns. Executive Office Interns are hired for summer, fall, and spring internships and applications are considered on a rolling basis.
We are currently accepting applications for 2017 & 2018 Executive Office Interns!
All internships are unpaid, but assistance will be offered to fulfill undergraduate academic credit requirements. Interns do not need to be college students.
The Executive Office Internship will give you a taste of Minnesota politics and expose you to the day-to-day operations of a non-profit at the same time. womenwinning staff are committed to helping interns get the most out of this internship providing relationship building, resume and professional job skill coaching, and personal recommendations.
We suggest that interns schedule at least one day in the office in Saint Paul per week and plan to participate occasionally in events during the evenings and on weekends to get the most out of this internship. Interns will also perform a variety of tasks including conducting research on women running for state and local public office in Minnesota, assisting staff with event planning, as well as other fundraising and communications projects.
Don't just take our word for it ... !
“womenwinning gave me my point of entry into politics. I had been out of college for a few years and knew that I wanted a more fulfilling career in politics or non-profits. It wasn’t until I interned for womenwinning that I gained the knowledge, skills, and connections to navigate the Minnesota political landscape. I now have a great job in progressive politics and owe it to womewninning. I recommend this opportunity to everyone!”
