Betty McCollum is serving her fifth term in the United States Congress; representing Minnesota’s Fourth District and holds the position of Senior Democratic Whip to three caucuses. Prior to Congress, Betty McCollum served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1993 to 2000 and was elected Assistant Leader three times. McCollum works vigorously to better education, protect the environment, expand health care access and defend workers liberties at home, while ensuring human rights abroad. McCollum is the second women from Minnesota to serve in the U.S Congress.
