Susan Banovetz Mayor, City of Vadnais Heights


Susan Banovetz


Incumbent Susan Banovetz has served as Mayor of Vadnais Heights for six terms, a total of 12 years. She has also served as an elected official on the Vadnais Heights Council and the Duluth School Board. She has worked as a mentor for young women and has encouraged women to apply for commission and council seats. If re-elected, Banovetz will prioritize working with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department and the City Attorney’s Office on issues related to domestic violence.

Marian Clennon
Marian Clennon is currently a member of the Austin City Council and sits on various community boards and commissions including, Code of Conduct Committee, Austin/Mower County Homeownership Fund, City-County Committee, and League of Mower County Cities. In her year on the Austin City Council, Marian has been dedicated to learn as much as she can about how the city departments operate and is ready to translate her skills and experience to the mayor’s office.

Deborah Goettel Mayor, City of Richfield

Debbie Goettel is the current mayor of Richfield, Minnesota. Previously, she served as chair of the Richfield Foundation, co-chair of St. Peter's Charity and Justice Committee, and as the treasurer for MIRA, a Latino service organization operating in Richfield. Mayor Goettel has been involved in many civic projects including an after-school program development at Hampton Place Apartments and the Housing Task Force. She is also a member of the League of Women Voters.

Mary Rossing

Mary Rossing has been Mayor of Northfield since 2008 and feels very connected to the Northfield area. She continues to lead her community by serving on the Northfield Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Board of Directors of the Northfield Downtown Development Corporation

Christine Lizee, Mayor of Shorewood


Christine Lizee was elected as Mayor of Shorewood in 2004. She served for three terms on the Shorewood City Council from 1996-2003. She is a Girl Scout Leader, Shorewood Planning Commissioner, Excelsior Rotary Board Member, and active member of the League of Women Voters. If re-elected, Lizee will prioritize education and protecting the environment for our most vulnerable citizens.
