Jan Callison

Jan Callison Hennepin County Commissioner (District 6)

Callison’s career as a lawyer, 12-year member of the Minnetonka City Council and service as Mayor of Minnetonka make her excellent for the office of Hennepin County Commissioner. Callison participates in all committees and serves as the Chairperson of the Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority and Treasurer of the Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority. She is also committed to increasing community development and providing a voice to the citizens in the district.

Gail Dorfman


Gail Dorfman, Hennepin County Commissioner (District 3)

Dorfman is currently serving her 3rd term as Hennepin County Commissioner. Prior to this office Dorfman was elected to the City Council and then as Mayor of St. Louis Park. Her top issues include ending homelessness in Hennepin County, promoting the development of affordable and supportive housing, creating and improving transit and transportation opportunities and building healthy families and healthy communities. | Website 



Judy Ohly Olmsted

Judy Ohly Olmsted County Commissioner (District 7)

 
Commissioner Ohly has served on the County Board since 2005. She is currently serving on numerous committees and boards that focus on environmental and water issues. She worked with the Women's Foundation of Minnesota and the Women on the Move task force in Olmstead County.

Jan Parker

Jan Parker Ramsey County Commissioner (District 2)

Commissioner Parker currently chairs the Ramsey County Board. She represents District 2 of Ramsey County and has served on the County Board since 1996. Some of her major issues of focus include Budget, Early Crime Prevention, and Non-Mandated Services.

Myra Peterson

 

Myra Peterson Washington County Commissioner (District 4)

Commissioner Peterson was first elected to serve District 4 in a special election in 1993. She serves as the chair of the Washington County Regional Railroad Authority and formerly served as the mayor of Oakdale. Victoria Reinhardt

Victoria Reinhardt Ramsey County Commissioner (District 7)

Commissioner Reinhardt has a long history of environmental activism, strong advocacy for violence prevention and has been working hard on metro-wide issues such as transportation and housing. The Commissioner's many years of experience landed her the Chair position of the Ramsey County Budget Committee in 2006. She has successfully worked with other local and regional officials on numerous projects concerning taxes, and public safety.

Janice RettmanJanice Rettman, Ramsey County Commissioner (District 3)

Commissioner Rettman has served residents living in Falcon Heights and portions of the city of Saint Paul on the County Board since April of 1997. Prior to this she served over 11 years on the Saint Paul City Council representing the North End, South Como, Como Park areas and part of the Eastside.  She is proud of her work to create equal opportunities in city hiring practices, for civil service testing that reflects the duties of the position and for the implementation of a fiscally responsible budget review process that focuses on completing identified goals and adopted priorities.

Patti Taylor, Candidate for Lake County Commissioner

Patti Taylor has served six years as Township Officer, was elected as Chair of Lake & Cook Co. Township Officers, has been appointed to numerous County Committees, and is now eager for the opportunity of Lake County Commissioner. For those who seek advice for their problems with State and Federal agencies, Patti is already known as a “facilitator” in her community. Patti worked on the original ERA and is concerned with issues such as Reproductive Rights and Domestic Violence. Patti is best known as a person that ‘does her homework’ and stands up for what she feels is ‘right’.

Lora Walker

Lora Walker North Branch (District 1)


Lora Walker was elected County Commissioner in 2009, representing Chisago Lakes - N, Franconia and Lent Townships. She works actively on committees favoring children’s justice, public health and human services and labor negotiations. In addition, Walker worked to improve the East Central Regional Library.

Laurie Westerlund Aitkin County Commissioner (District 2)

 
Commissioner Westerlund is currently serving the 2nd District of Aitkin County. Westerlund is very active the local community and is a member of the Minnesota Farmer's Union. Major issues for Westerlund include Women's Safety and Equitable Salary.
